Tickets On Sale for 2007 Wine Auction

Manchester, CT-(March 5, 2007)…. Tickets are currently on sale for the 15th Annual An Evening of Fine Wines sponsored by the Manchester Community College Foundation, Inc. The event will be held on Friday, April 13 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. at Manchester Community College.

Scot Haney of WFSB-TV 3 will return as the guest emcee. The honorary chair for this year’s event is William J. McGurk, President and CEO of Rockville Bank.

The annual gala event combines a wine tasting and live wine auction with a silent auction of non-wine items to raise funds for scholarships and programs at the College. The event will feature more than 100 different wines from around the world with at least 25 tasting tables. Each guest will receive a complimentary wine tasting glass for sampling the wines on display. Hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening; coffee and a Viennese table of desserts will be served at the conclusion of the auction. A silent auction of merchandise and gift certificates will precede the main auction. It includes vacations and weekend getaways, original works of art, gift certificates for trips, restaurants and services, and much more.
