MCC to Offer Free Online Information Session for Respiratory Care Program

MANCHESTER, Conn. (September 13, 2021) – Manchester Community College will offer a free information session on Monday, September 27, from 3 to 4 p.m., for individuals interested in the college’s Respiratory Care program.

MCC’s Respiratory Care program is a two-year associate degree program designed to meet the standards of the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), which accredits respiratory therapy education programs in the United States. The program offers students a combination of strong classroom preparation and rigorous clinical experience in a wide variety of healthcare settings.

The info session will be offered online via WebEx, but it is not necessary to have the software in order to attend, as a live link will take participants straight to the session. Attending an information session is the first step in the admission process. To be admitted to the program, a separate application from the college application must be completed by March 15, 2022. During the information session, the program coordinator will provide details about the program and answer questions.
