Scholarship Funds Available for Fall

MANCHESTER, Conn. (August 17, 2021) – Manchester Community College Foundation is offering tuition assistance scholarships for the fall semester to new and continuing students who demonstrate financial need. International students may also be eligible.

MCC Foundation gives hundreds of deserving students the opportunity to achieve their academic dreams through the scholarship program. Scholarship awards are merit- and need-based and range from $150 to more than $3,000 per student for the fall semester, renewable for spring if the student continues to meet criteria for the scholarship. In addition, the foundation supports college programs.

MCC Foundation President Peter Grose said, “This year the foundation is pleased to be able to offer scholarship awards to more students, thanks to generous donations that have increased our scholarship funding significantly. We know that many students are working hard to make up lost time due to the pandemic, and MCC Foundation scholarships can help offset the cost.”

MCC CEO Nicole Esposito added, “The application process is simple and easy. We encourage anyone considering attending MCC to check out the college website for details and an application. Finances should not be a barrier to students starting or completing their education.”
