MCC Career Services to Hold Online Job-Search Workshops

MANCHESTER, Conn.  (September 10, 2020) – Manchester Community College is holding free online career workshops beginning Wednesday, September 23, and continuing weekly through Wednesday, November 11. The 75-minute workshops — covering effective resume writing and interviewing tips — will be conducted by WebEx and are open to the public.

The effective resume writing workshop will provide information on the skills and strategies needed to develop a visually appealing, competitive resume that gets positive response from employers.

The interviewing tips workshop covers the various stages of the interviewing process. Job seekers will gain insight into frequently asked interview questions and other tips that can help lead to a successful interview.

There is no need to have WebEx software, as attendees will be directed into an event template to start the session. The workshops are sponsored by MCC Career Services and conducted by Julie Greene, director of career and veteran services.
