MCC Announces Social Service and Social Work, and Other Information Sessions to be Held Online July 7

MANCHESTER, Conn.  (June 29, 2020) – Manchester Community College is holding online information sessions Tuesday, July 7, to provide students with an opportunity to ask questions and get answers about the college’s Social Service and Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Drug and Alcohol Recovery Counselor and Early Childhood Education programs. The information sessions will be conducted by WebEx but there is no need to have the software, as registered attendees will be directed into an event template to start the session.

Students can register for and attend one or all of the free online information sessions, which run for an hour each, starting at 9 a.m. The online format is designed to extend access to educational opportunities in these in-demand fields, while helping to ensure everyone’s safety and health during the pandemic. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about their program of choice, ask questions and receive enrollment information.

In addition, people who want general information about enrollment and financial aid can register for Q&A sessions to be held on July 1, 9 and 16 at this same web page. Participants in these Q&A sessions will have the opportunity to raise questions and get answers to their questions about the MCC enrollment process and completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form to apply for financial aid for college.
