MCC Credit-Free Programs Offers Many Courses Online for Summer 2020

MANCHESTER, Conn. (May 19, 2020) – To ensure the health and safety of students during the COVID-19 pandemic, Manchester Community College’s credit-free Summer 2020 course catalog offers online classes.

As with its traditional on-ground format, MCC’s Continuing Education division’s Summer 2020 credit-free catalog has online courses starting on an ongoing basis. Many of the offerings are professional development courses designed to provide people interested in shifting careers with a short-term path to new, in-demand job skills. There are also a number of personal enrichment courses.

The catalog does offer some on-ground courses scheduled to start late in the summer; however, if the campus does not reopen by then, these courses will be canceled. In addition, the online format requires that courses, especially those involving clinical work, be conducted differently.

Topics are organized under Allied Health, Art and Crafts, Boating, Computer Technology, Cuisine, Culture and History, Dance, Languages, Music and other categories.
