Manchester Community College became CT State Manchester on July 1, 2023. The CT State admissions application is now open for Fall 2023 enrollment.
Select an application below based on when you’d like to enroll.
All continuing, degree-seeking students became CT State students as of July 1, 2023.
Manchester Community College is the most popular two-year college choice among recent Connecticut high school grads and 4th out of all colleges and universities.
New Students (First time in college, or new to MCC)
- Get started by applying online. Fill out the form, provide proof of high school or college graduation or GED, and submit proof of two doses of measles, mumps, rubella and varicella immunizations and you’ll be on your way to a degree or certificate.
- Send in your SAT scores or high school transcript. If you are transferring to MCC, send an official transcript from your previous institution.
- Check out MCC’s Accepted Students page.
- Attend the virtual New Student Orientation, where you will learn about the tools necessary to succeed at MCC and have the opportunity to connect with an advisor.
- Meet with a Guided Pathways Advisor and register for classes. Prior to scheduling your meeting, please ensure placement documents and transcripts are on file with the Admissions office. This will ensure you receive the best advising experience. Without placement information and/or transfer credits in the system, the Guided Pathways Advising team will be limited in how they can assist you. Schedule your advising appointment.
Continuing Students
Register one of two ways:
- Through your myCommNet account.
- Schedule a time to talk with an advisor.
Still have questions?
Contact one of the Enrollment Services offices:
- Issues with applying to the college
- Questions about transfer evaluations, AP credits, etc.
- Registering for courses, transferring to another college
- Questions about prerequisite overrides, transcripts, enrollment verification, immunizations, etc.
Paying for Your Classes
Make sure you put together a solid plan for paying your tuition. If you haven’t already, apply for financial aid and, please note, you have to apply each year.
If you are not eligible for financial aid, please remember that a portion of your tuition and fees – if not all – are due at the time you register. A payment plan is available.
There may also be some scholarship money available. The library has put together an online guide that might help.
Don’t go through the process of designing your ideal schedule just to be dropped for non-payment. Plan early.
About Online Courses
Although MCC’s online courses provide flexibility that allow students to access information and participate in course discussions anytime and anywhere via a computer and an Internet connection, these are not self-paced courses. Just as in any MCC course, students will have weekly deadlines for assignments, discussions and assessments. The content and expectations in an online course are the same as in an on-campus course at MCC. Online courses require a great deal of reading and writing, as well as strong computer literacy and time management skills. Students should review the information on the ETDL website at www.manchestercc.edu/blackboard. This site includes information about how to log into Blackboard Learn, where to get help, technical requirements for your computer and other resources.
